I always thought Om was already as big as things got.

I guess no Marcus, unless he's a 'special guest'. No spot taken, either way.

Woo to the whoo. See ya there!!

Nice lineup, I will be there!

Wish I could go... I have eye surgery that morning and post-op appt at 8am the following morn or else I'd book a flight for a down-n-back.

Phantastic.  A mother's day present for all to enjoy.

LLOLLO, I hope you have easy and complete healing and recovery from your eye surgery.

Aww thanks Judit. Forecast is good-- just 2 cataract surgeries 2 weeks apart on either side of my birthday so I'm getting the gift of distance vision.. can't wait to play sports like tennis or skiing without glasses or contacts!

Too bad they won't also correct my tired overworked eye wrinkles,, hee hee, but I don't believe in that kind of surgery anyways.

Christine sees great again:  News at eleven.  Good luck

Does anyone have the goldenvoice presale code? (Asking for a friend) laugh

Weir sit-in?

VINYL

Got a nice seat in the Lower Balcony.

Phil at the Warfield ~ Always fun.

Glad to see Daniel Donato back in the line-up. The kid rocked it that other time.

Donato is the draw for me, but all around good lineup

It is this week!

Have Fun zonnahs In Phil We Trust

Lots of tickets available,.much of the balcony has gone unsold.

I'll be in the loge, this old man needs a seat LOL!

ive been a lodge/seat man since i was in my early 20s, its not just for old men.

Right on, right on!

How come these days Bobby can sell out night after night and Phil not so much? It does not make sense. Certainly not the quality of the music. Marketing maybe?

Could this show be streamed on Phils somewhat new youtube channel???   Or is something else in the works???   Postings on FB and Instagram suggest somethings up!!!

Donato sat-in with Stu Allen/Mars Hotel last nite in Mill Valley, Looking forward to hearing him  with PLF...

Donato is a young gunslinger. He was probably out picking up some GD riffs from Stu!

> Could this show be streamed on Phils somewhat new youtube channel???

That somewhat new youtube channel hasn't had an update since November. I'm still waiting on the Darkstarathon.

Might have to do with 5-8-77......

>>>How come these days Bobby can sell out night after night and Phil not so much

There are a lot of Sphere tix available even below cost, and even for opening night.

^ The rehearsal has Holy Bowling on keys, some nice stuff here!

Sweet.

Holy Bowling without a hat = bizarro world

Such a nice evening.

It's getting harder and harder for me to get out to shows these days, but it was so nice to cross paths with so many folks I know and haven't seen in a while, and to be back in that glorious venue that I've been going to for 44 years now, and the music was solid & the vibe in the room was old school fun and totally worth the effort.

Just a little rock 'n roll.

Atta' boy Phil.

Notes from taper: Oteil was in attendance for this show and watched side stage and was out front before the show. Wharf Rat was on the original setlist but was cut.

Wow that setlist is garbage. Not saying the show was, I haven't listened yet (and I plan to). But the song selection seems pretty weak.

How many songs did Grahame ruin? The official over/under was at 4.5.

Ha

Never judge a show by a dis jointed setlist alone!

Phil was in fine form and had the sonics tuned in...

But the song selection seems pretty weak.

I guess you aren't a deadhead LOL! ;)

How many songs did Grahame ruin?

The official tally was ZERO

I didn't think there was anything disjointed about the first set list at all, and it sounded good from the couch too. I'm looking forward to listening to the second set this afternoon.

I did think Grahame and Daniel's vocal ranges were a bit too similar though. They both have fairly high voices, and that just didn't work for me.

Great show at the Warfield last night.  Sound was right there.  Band was totally zoned in.  Crowd dancing without talking, amazing.  Never thought possible.  But it's P H I L.  Till next outing.  Smiles

Agreed Andy, I thought the show was outstanding. The band sounded well rehearsed and tight. I'm a big fan of Donato's Nashville meets Bakersfield chicken pickin' on the Telecaster. We moved from the balcony to the drink rail for the second set because we were so jazzed. After the very tepid Fillmore shows I was pleased to see a barn burner. That second set smoked from start to finish.

Buckle Up Kids... I think this date may conflict with other NoCal music events... but it's Phil!

IMG_2237.jpeg

That's definitely not the correct lineup to "celebrate 7/21/74" but what the hell!

maaan, this is the right in the lil toaster's wheelhouse

would be worth flying out for

please consider in the future

Thank you Noodler

We had big fun at the Warfield. Is there any better seat in  rock n roll than the lower lodge at the Warfield? After years of rail riding, it's nice to see what I've been missing from a higher perspective.

I really liked Daniel. He really seemed to be feeling the music, he even turned and a blew Phil a kiss after one of the jams, seems like the kid has big ears which can only help him.

Then the incomparable Mr.Lesh. he was in fine form, once he ripped the ear monitors out it was game on, old school Phil digging deep and searching for that sound we love...I thought it was pretty funny the first thing he did was have  the stool removed from the stage...I do have to admit I was a bit crushed we didn't get an Unbroken Chain, I was really feeling it all day and thought for sure we would get one, oh well...

We got our tickets for San Rafeal last night, really looking forward to Stanley and Mikaela with the Lesh boys...
